A delightful program that focuses on the history and landscape of Mugga-Mugga. Tour the cottage to see how the Curleys “made do” and explore the garden and paddocks to discover the native plants, exotic trees and flowers that grow on the site. Collect plant samples and create your own collage using natural materials and papers.
Why not make it a day and visit both Calthorpes’ House and Mugga-Mugga Cottage. A visit to both properties will illustrate the differences in the daily lives of two families, one which enjoyed the luxuries of all the ‘mod cons’ and one which still lived a simple, rural life.
