Lanyon during Floriade

During normal opening hours

Lanyon Homestead is a main Floriade site this year. Immerse yourself in the gardens at Lanyon Homestead as the Floriade bulbs bloom with colour this Spring.  Come and visit this wonderful living collection with a layered history that dates back to the 1860s. Highlights include the two 130-year-old Bunya Bunya trees, Wisteria from 1860 and the orchards under planted with a carpet of mixed daffodils and tulips.

ACT Historic Places has partnered with Floriade Australia, Cuppacumbalong Homestead and Canberra Institute of Technology to present programs that celebrate Spring and Floriade Reimagined. Why not make a day of it and visit both Lanyon and Cuppacumbalong Homesteads? Book into our outdoor Heritage tours, make amazing floral or artists creations in our workshops and enjoy Devonshire Tea at Cuppacumbalong and High Tea or Lunch at the Barracks Cafe, Lanyon.
