Harvest Workshop: Flowers From the Cutting Garden

Lanyon Homestead
Saturday 30 April 2022
10am–12pm and 1– 3pm
Adults $95 (Conc/Members $85)

Harvest Day Out on Saturday 30 April has been cancelled due to the heavy rain and possible severe weather forecast. We are very disappointed to cancel the event and hope to reschedule the program later this year. The safety and enjoyment of our visitors was our main priority. Thank you for everyone’s support.

Join Narelle Phillips from Brave Botanics for a floristry workshop exploring the style, vessels and florals of the Victorian era.

Get an insight into how floral displays were used in the interiors of Australian colonial homes like Lanyon Homestead.  Tour the Lanyon Homestead gardens and collect some plant materials to add to your creations. The workshop includes a demonstration of large floral designs. Participants will take home two floral arrangements, including one hand tied posy and one floral glass dome. All tools and materials supplied.
