Expansive views over the Autumn landscape make Mugga Mugga Cottage an ideal location for this Sustainable Art Workshop series.
Inspired by the DIY approach taken by the cottage’s Curley family and the current ethos for upcycling, these creative workshops will introduce then guide you in a variety of sustainable art practices with fabric bookmaking, nature printing, grassland weaving and reinterpretation of photographs with textile processes.

Rounding the Narrative - 6 May - Join artist Mariana del Castillo in creating a unique circular bespoke and bound book using timber and beeswax string
Basketry with Grasses - 13 May - Learn ways to identify suitable grasses for weaving and how to harvest them with respect and sustainability in mind.
Nature Printing - 20 May - Join local printmaker Peter McLean and engage with your local environment through nature printing.
Stitching the Landscape - 27 May - Local textile artist Sharon Peoples will guide you with cross-stitching to create engaging, personal textile artworks.
